I want to go back to school for bio, but I'm hesitant

So, for context, I have a bachelor's in film. My college career was... Messy. I was forced to apply to colleges at 18 before I could settle on what I actually wanted to pursue. I chose film, specifically animation because it was a special interest of mine. Cut to the last year of college and I want to drop out so bad from burnout, but my family wouldn't allow it. I had to essentially half-ass my thesis to get a degree that at this point I can't even use. (I live in the Midwest, where there's almost 0 opportunities for this field, and the same month I graduated, the writer's strikes began). I have my degree, but as I've matured, I've realized I really only enjoy film as a hobby, not a career to overwork and monetize.

Lately, I've re-sparked my love for science, something I'd been intensely interested in since I was a child. It's made me want to go back to school to pursue a biology degree. The problem however is that when I *was* in school, I was the brokest I'd ever been in my life. Sometimes with only $40 to my name. I couldn't fix my car, sometimes I couldn't pay rent, sometimes I'd eat nothing but plain rice for days. I'm afraid of having to go back to that financial state. The only reason I'm somewhat "stable" now is because of stimulus money from 2021 that I still have saved for emergencies, and getting promoted for full time at my current job.

Then, there's the fact that I really can't choose just one field of study. I love too many things. I really want to study entomology, but I would also love to work with marine invertebrates, but I also love mycology and ornithology and microbiology and botany. But regardless of what I do, I'd want to get a museum studies certificate as well.

I'm still working the same fast food job I've worked in since starting college, and it's killing me. It feels like a pointless existence and all I want is to begin a career that actually *means* something, not to mention how many health issues I've gotten specifically from this job. I can't keep doing work that feels like working to survive and not working for a cause. I'm just feeling stuck not knowing where to go or what to do. Hoping there may be someone in here that went through a similar experience.
