Your Word today is from Matthewβs Gospel Chapter 21 verses 23-32
πΏ Reflection:
Godβs grace often works in ways we donβt expect. Jesus showed that it is not simply those who say or know the right things who experience Godβs kingdom, but those who are willing to embrace His ways and live them out . The religious leaders were so focused on protecting what was familiar that they struggled to recognise Godβs new work.
This reminds us to remain open to God, to listen for His Spirit, and not to allow fear, pride, or our own expectations to prevent us from seeing where He is working. We are also called to welcome and encourage those who are responding to Godβs grace, even when they may not be the people we expect.
Prayer:
Almighty God, open my heart to recognize Your grace and the new things You are doing in my life. Help me to listen carefully for your Spirit and not allow fear or familiarity to keep me from following You.
Give me a heart that welcomes others and sees them as You do. Guide me today and help me walk faithfully in Your ways Amen.
