πΉ Reflection β The Birth of Mother Mary
Today we remember with gratitude the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary β the woman chosen by God to become the mother of our Savior.
In Luke 11:27β28 , a woman calls Mary blessed because she gave birth to Jesus. But Jesus gently takes the focus deeper: βBlessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.β
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Today we give You thanks for the birth of Mary, the humble woman You chose to become the mother of Your Son, Jesus.
Thank You for her faith, her courage and her willingness to trust You completely. Through her example, teach us to listen for Your voice, to treasure Your Word and to put our faith into action.
Mary, Mother of Jesus and our loving mother, pray for us. Help us to follow your example of humility, obedience and unwavering trust in God. When life brings uncertainty, remind us to surrender our fears and place our confidence in the Lord.
May our lives, like yours, become a reflection of Godβs love. Amen ππΌ
