Is getting a haircut allowed during the Nine Days?
We're currently in the Nine Days before Tisha B'Av (today is the 3rd day), and I need a haircut. I know there are mourning customs during this period, but I'm not sure if haircuts are restricted the whole time or just during certain days.
Is it permitted to get a haircut right now, or should I wait until after Tisha B'Av? Does it depend on whether you're Ashkenazi or Sephardi? Would appreciate any sources or what your community's practice is.
