Help my valkera runner 250 won’t connect.

I got a valkera runner 250 from a family friend. It was broken and I am trying to fix it. When I try to connect the red light flash and the controller is searching but nothings connects. The receiver has power and I turned of fix id on controller. Can anybody help?
