During my professional journey, I have held various roles that allowed me to engage in diverse functions. My recent experience involved working as an administrative staff in a distribution firm. Due to a shortage of manpower and my manager's extended leave because of illness, I took on additional responsibilities spanning three positions.
Despite the challenges of managing multiple roles, I found value in the experience and adapted to the evolving environment over an extended period. While the job was demanding and draining, I made an effort to maintain a positive attitude. However, as time passed, I began to lose motivation and even referred to Mondays as " the beginning of my hell week. "
Recognizing the pressures and difficulties faced by the office and my manager's absence, I tried to be patient and voiced my concerns and suggestions for improvement. Unfortunately, my feedback was met with silence, and I felt unsupported, leading me to make the difficult decision to leave.
Leaving behind what was once a second home that had turned into an extremely stressful environment due to self-centered individuals was a necessary step for me. Feeling undervalued and realizing my worth, I chose to move forward, confident that my contributions would be missed.
Currently, I am engaged in non-traditional work where I dedicate time and effort to complete tasks and receive compensation in cryptocurrencies. This arrangement allows me to work from home, providing me with control over my time and higher earnings compared to my previous office job. Additionally, I no longer incur daily commute and meal expenses.
I am content with the balance between my efforts and compensation in my current work setup. While I may not receive the same level of recognition as in other roles, the compensation is more satisfactory than in my previous employment.
