I love photography, but lately it just feels heavy

I started photography as a passion while working full-time as an engineer. I am from india and mainly into conceptual portrait photography. I choose a theme first and then build the entire shoot around it, from the costumes, location, and props to the styling, lighting, and every other detail needed to bring the idea to life.

Over the past year, I've learned a lot, invested countless hours into improving my craft, and created portraits that I'm genuinely proud of. The response to my work has been amazing, and many people have loved the images I've made.

Lately, though, I've been struggling.

The ideas I want to bring to life keep getting delayed or falling apart. Sometimes it's because a model isn't available, sometimes it's logistics, and other times it's something completely outside my control. It feels like every shoot I truly care about runs into another obstacle.

At the same time, I see incredible work from photographers I admire. I know comparison isn't healthy, and I know everyone is on a different journey, but knowing that doesn't stop the feeling. Every day there's this quiet heaviness inside me , a sense of frustration that I'm capable of more, yet unable to create what I envision.

Sometime i feel like to take a break or quit,
but Quitting isn't an option. Taking a break isn't really an option either. Photography is something I genuinely love, and I've invested almost everything I could into it. I'm not someone with financial well of backgroung. Most of what I've earned as an engineer has gone back into cameras, lenses, lighting, costumes, and everything else needed to pursue this dream.

sometimes i feel like if i concentrate more on my tech filed, switch company I get even more pay. i am thinking about decession i have made, thinking if my decision was wrong and thinking like is all this hardwork and efforts worth it

It's not that I've lost my passion. If anything, I care too much.

I just don't know how to navigate this phase, when the desire to create is stronger than ever, but reality keeps getting in the way.
