Any John Fowles fans in here? Especially of 'A Maggot'?
This is my third Fowles novel now and I've been loving them all so far. The Magus is a masterpiece, and I loved the Collector but having seen the film already I had the typical experience of groaning at the structure.
I'm onto 'A Maggot' now and I'm loving it but I'm finding the gentleman's chronicle pages pretty much illegible on both my printed copy and any epubs I've been able to find. Is anyone who has read it able to comment on how important they are? I've just been skipping for now. Loving it so far though!
