First car I ever bought at 16 years old after saving my whole life was totaled the day before my driver's test
this happened 5 years ago today and I still feel the pain i did when it first happened. no injures just a lady who happened to be high on drugs while driving.
The lady also tried to flee as the transmission fluid was pouring out of her car and the cop had to restrain her to keep from making it a hit and run.
Since we already paid a deposit I still had to take my driver's test the next day and I failed because of obvious reasons so I had to wait a month to take it again plus I spent months arguing with insurance I got 3200 out of it and spent it on the car I still drive today a 2002 Honda.
But having the car you spent your whole life wanting and finally having it and it being ripped away before you can even sit behind the wheel makes you really sad. Also my neighbor was the VIP of the situation you can see him in the top left corner gardening
