Why does the Xbox Mobile App and Xbox PC App calculate…

Why does the Xbox Mobile App and Xbox PC App calculate completion percentages differently?

The Xbox Mobile App, which calculates percentage based on Gamerscore. \(410\/1000 = .41\) https://preview.redd.it/8xsmrpz9g35h1.jpg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6910bae50958d3981e3de3a0963b80c78b4606b1

The Xbox PC App, which calculates percentage based on number of achievements. \(29\/60 - .48\) https://preview.redd.it/jpxjowtbg35h1.png?width=1647&format=png&auto=webp&s=99dea7110fbaf97d68c41a79dc533ce165e17c9e

Hello all, I've got a bit of a TIL regarding something I noticed today. I've known for a while that Xbox calculates achievement completion based on the actual Gamerscore earned for a game. This makes sense to me; the whole system encourages earning more points for a higher score, so why not calculate a game's completion by point value?

Interestingly enough, when I glanced at my Oblivion achievements after a session on PC I saw that it is actually calculating based off of the number of achievements instead of the amount of points.

I find it very strange that these apps don't calculate with the same formula, and I would honestly love to know why. It doesn't make a difference to me either way, I think both systems are valid in their own ways, but I am just so curious why there isn't a standardized calculation across all 'platforms'.
