Emergency fix for an ongoing print, it's going to fail in one hour
Hey, I need your collective wisdom (and maybe a bit of emotional support) because I just realized I fked up.
Situation is as follows: I have a 24h, transparent PETG print going and it's about halfway through. Around layer 55 it will get to the point where it needs a couple of small, but critical supports which I forgot to toggle. It's five thin block shapes, roughly 3 cm x 1 cm x 0.5 cm.
I had an idea to pause the print before it happens, procure such shapes out of wood, I thought to cut and stack coffee stirrers and use a water soluble glue stick to insert them as emergency supports.
The question is, has anybody tried this before and do you have any other ideas how could I save it? #technology
