Being a Mayor from your city or municipality is a big responsibility because you are being choose to be trusted by your people when it comes to their needs. You need to reflect from their situations to put yourself in their shoes what's their everyday lives and struggles in order to understand your people.
There are many plans in my mind if I will be the mayor from our municipality of Leganes Iloilo Philippines. First I will ensure the livelihood programs from the housewives so that they can earn too with the projects I will impose. Also building a farm where people are obliged to plant vegetables, to have farm animals to take care, they will harvest and sell and it's their money to earn. In short help people to have jobs let them work and earn money so that they will not abused because it's their own farm to took care in order them to live It's not only farm other jobs for their children or in the office if they are eligible with the criteria in the municipality. Helping them to have jobs and not just asking financial assistance. But it's a case to case scenario they can also ask hospitalizations aide if they have lack financially.
If I will become a Mayor I will ensure the health of my people insured them and to provide hospital assistance they can still confined themselves if they have no down payment if it's emergency. To provide medical missions with the sick for free just organized with non government officials.
Or to higher government officials how to conduct medical missions. To have more hospital facilities in providing the people.
I will provide scholarship from college students who are willing to study as soon their grades are reasonable to avail scholarship. For elderly provide monthly check ups those who can't afford.
To provide a clean wet markets and the people must maintain it those who are selling in the wet market.
The mayor will provide from the willingness and capacity of the mayor's strength while the people are obliged to do their part as well to have a unity in the municipality or city.
Being a Mayor is difficult too because you are responsible in every people in your town everytime they needed help. So provide them from their needs and it's not abusive too.
