I chose the movie The Passion of the Christ...for me this film reflects the heart of Lent. The sacrifice, suffering, love and redemption. It shows the depth of what Jesus endured, not just physically, but spiritually. Lent for me is a time to pause, reflect and walk a quieter path, remembering that love often comes with sacrifice, and there is purpose even in pain.
I believe religion can guide us, teach us and give us structure. But it is faith- a personal, deep and living connection that truly transform the soul.
I have a personal relationship with the Lord, and it is through that relationship that my faith grows stronger every day. Religion supports my journey, but it is my faith and that personal connection that gives me hope, strength and peace 💜🙏🕊️
