Moved into a newly constructed apartment and this happened from just using the A/C
This happened in 2023 at around 9pm. At first it was just a slight drip from the vents so I called maintenance and they said they won’t be able to come till the next day. so I put a pot down.. then it started dripping more rapidly so I put a trashcan there… while watching tv I suddenly hear this raining sound and went to check and this was what happened. Maintenance told me to not use the AC cause that was most likely what was causing it to leak. They attempted to fix it the next day. Said they fixed it, then it happened again… they again attempted to fix it…. And it leaked again. I basically had no ac for almost a month in the middle of summer in California with 90+ degrees lol. They did end up fixing it though but it took quite a few attempts.
Gotta love newly constructed apartments right 😬
Update: for those that are curious I was the first tenant for the “luxury” apartment and was on the top floor. I ended up breaking my lease a few months later cause I kept having issues with the apartment
