* The issue here is that Taiwan does not respect the sovereignty of Palestine.

* In recent months, Taiwan had announced that they were willing to fund illegal projects in the West Banks, which would've made Taiwan the first country to break international law on funding a ethnic cleansing. However they walked back on those promises after facing criticism.
