Does a Press Pass Help with aggravated onlookers?

I have been having issues lately with aggravated and aggressive people saying I can't fly my drone. They are wrong; I have my part 107 and follow all the rules, but they don't care.

My question is: If I get a "press pass", would that go any significant distance towards making these people believe what I'm doing is legit? I know what I am doing is legal, but I just don't want to deal with these yahoos anymore. And it always wastes precious battery time.

Also, I recently had a guy threaten to sue me right after admitting to trying to shoot drones out of the sky. I had it on recording because I was filming a YouTube video. For his sake, I hope he doesn't do that hehehehe

A press pass mostly helps the confused ones who want a reason to back off. It does almost nothing for someone already shouting that you can't fly. Part 107 is the permission that counts, and a calm line plus something they can actually see in your hand goes further than another badge. Plenty of people still just want the drone down. Are these the same spots and the same crowds, or a new argument every flight?
