I just finished an 80/20 gallery/cabinet in my van, except for the countertop.
I haven't decided on the material yet, but I'm leaning toward a butcher block or corin. That said, I'd like to allow somewhat easy access to the cabinet below the countertop - mostly of maintenance of wiring/appliances, etc.
Has anyone done anything like put several hinges on a countertop and secured the other side somehow? Is this a terrible idea?
