From My Perspective: Superstitions Don’t Define Reality In my society, one very common belief is that if a black cat crosses your path, something bad will happen. Many people stop, change direction, or wait for someone else to pass first. From my perspective, I don’t agree with this superstition at all. Firstly, there is no scientific proof that a cat can affect our luck or future. It’s just an animal living its life like any other. Secondly, such beliefs create unnecessary fear in people’s minds, especially among children. Thirdly, this thinking can sometimes lead to cruelty toward animals, which is completely unfair. Moreover, success or failure depends on our actions, decisions, and effort—not random events like this. I believe we should focus more on logic and reality rather than following blind traditions. Lastly, respecting all living beings and thinking positively is far more important than believing in superstitions.
