The greatest posthumously published literature
Lots of authors have had their work published posthumously, but often those are second-tier books by already famous and influential writers. What do you think are the true masterpieces that were only discovered and published after the author’s death?
The poems of Emily Dickinson are an obvious example. Without her literary executors, her body of work would have been lost.
What other masterpieces would have been unknown if the author’s unpublished manuscripts never came to light?
