Need help deciding on a scout rifle
I want to get a scout rifle in .308 (might rebarrel or rebore for .338 federal later) and I’m stuck between the Cva cascade sr-80 and the mossberg mvp scout. I know the Cva is the better rifle in terms of fit, finish, and accuracy, but I really dislike the proprietary magazines and I like that the mossberg takes standard ar-10 and m14 mags. What are your experiences with these rifles and which would you pick?
