Affordable shapewear dupes for Spanx/Skims?
I (34f) have a few weddings coming up this summer and Is tarted looking into shapewear for the first time. Spanx and Skims were the big guys I kept hearing about so started there but WOW those prices caught me off guard. $80+?? For shorts I'd wear under one dress a few times a year, max??
For any other ladies in the same boat, is there actually quality in the Skims/Spanx stuff to justify that price? Or is it mostly brand markup? Any suggestions for more affordable options that aren't going to roll down on me in 2 seconds or make me feel like a stuffed animal? Don't wanna waste money in something bad but also don't want to overspend..
