Made it to the Summit. Fansipan Mountain Sapa, Vietnam is the 3rd highest peak in Southeast Asia exceeded only by two peaks in the very northern tip of Myanmar which are actually a part of the Himalayan mountains. Technically the Vietnamese say Fansipan is the highest peak in Indochina, which in their case I believe they are referring to French Indochina (Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam).
