Is it theoretically possible to have the release version of a game plus the first 2 months of updates be DRM free?
This would allow the original version and stability updates to be copied to disc or removable memory at the customer’s discretion. But to reduce piracy of continuous maintenance and DLC, the publisher requires DRM for later versions.
