Can't use an entire Costco bottle of Mayonnaise before it goes bad, options?
Mayonnaise is quite expensive these days, but for a few dollars more than a small bottle i can get half a gallon bottle from Costco which is on sale right now. Price per unit wise this would be amazingly cheap, but if most of it goes bad before i can use it then its wasting food.
I go through a small bottle of under 500mL in maybe 3-6 months, one Costco bottle would theoretically last me a couple years. Once opened, is there a way to portion it out and save the rest till i need it?
Can is be put in bottles and frozen or will that destroy it?
Are there other options?
