Question about which way is cheaper on the electric bill
We live in Texas so the summers are brutal and we have to use the AC quite a bit. I like it warmer than my husband by about four degrees and I’m home basically all day every day. While he’s gone to work I turn the AC to 74 then turn it back down to 70 when he gets home. He says I’m running up our electric bill by constantly changing the temp. My question is: is it cheaper to run the electric warmer during the day and change it at night or keep it colder all throughout the day?
