It's also physics that if you use thicker copper wires, the resistance is lesser. In fact if you double the diameter of the copper wire, you reduce the resistance 4 times. So if only meralco used thicker wires for their power lines, the heat and resistance would be much less and consequently the TECHNICAL system loss would be much less as well. This is why both TECHNICAL AND NON TECHNICAL (loss from theft) should be shouldered by meralco. Kung hindi nyo po tinipid ang materyales na ginamit nyo sa infrastructure nyo, eh mababa lang sana ang technical system loss nyo. That's why I also respectfully disagree with sen Erwin Tulfo when he said that technical system loss shouldered by the consumer is acceptable as he only opposes the non technical system loss. Both are not acceptable sir. Consumers should not shoulder the technical and non technical system loss.
