While there are challenges, there are also countless blessings that make life worth living. The following are just a few of the things I'm grateful for: 1. Parents and siblings There are times when I find myself at odds with my family. Their choices, sometimes even their behaviors, feel deeply unsettling. I struggle to understand their actions, thoughts and beliefs. It's not easy, and it often leads to conflict. But despite these challenges, I am eternally grateful for their unwavering presence in my life. They may not always grasp the depth of my struggles, but they understand some of my pain, and for that, I am thankful. They are my family, after all.
The constant effort to comprehend them, to make allowances, to be the one who always understands and accepts – it's a heavy burden. It's the expectation placed upon me, a role that sometimes feels suffocating.
I understand that we can't be together forever. But the conflicts we've faced have taught me the importance of independence. I must learn to stand on my own two feet because I can't always rely on them, or anyone else, to shoulder responsibilities that are rightfully mine. It's a journey of self-discovery, a path towards finding my own voice and my own way in the world. 2. Occupation My job has been a source of both frustration and resilience. While the sluggish internet is a constant annoyance, it's the unfair managerial practices that truly weigh on me. I won't go into specifics, but let's just say the current state of affairs feels deeply unjust. Many would be tempted to walk away, and I understand that urge. But I've chosen to stay, at least for now.
I believe that many superiors fail to treat their employees with fairness, and I've certainly experienced that firsthand. But amidst the frustration, I've found some silver linings. My stress levels are lower, my transportation costs are significantly reduced, and my current wage is more than reasonable compared to my previous job. In this challenging world, where making ends meet can feel like a constant struggle, having a steady source of income is a blessing.
I'm not naive. The unfair practices haven't disappeared. But for now, I'm choosing to find the good in the midst of the bad. I'm holding onto the hope that things will improve, or that I'll find a better opportunity down the road. But for now, I'm making the most of what I have. 3. Gifts of Wisdom and Resilience Wisdom and resilience – they're not just words on a page. They're the life rafts I cling to, the compass guiding me through the turbulent waters of life. Life hasn't always been easy, a truth I share with countless others. Setbacks and disappointments have been my constant companions, leaving their mark on my journey. But through it all, I've discovered an inner strength, a resilience that refuses to be broken. I dust myself off, brush away the bad vibes, and keep moving forward. I love myself for this ability, for the unwavering belief in myself that allows me to face the mirror, even after failures and foolish choices, and say, " You're doing okay, self. You're going to be alright."
Wisdom has been my guiding light, helping me make informed decisions, understand the intricate tapestry of my experiences, and forge meaningful connections. Resilience has been my unwavering anchor, carrying me through storms, helping me overcome obstacles, and persisting even when the path ahead seems daunting. I will keep fighting, not because I have to, but because I choose to. Because I know that within me lies the strength to face whatever life throws my way.
I really appreciate how you always share your innermost thoughts and feelings. Your openness is refreshing and ads a deep perspective and I can see your gratitude. I encourage you to keep focusing on the positives- your gratitude shines through!😇
