Is a CS degree or boot camp more appropriate for me?

I apologize for the post, I know you probably see these a lot. I know opinions differ depending on your background so here's mine.
Started at a 4-year university back in 2020 for cybersecurity, after a few months transferred over to a local community college, and then to an online accredited university where I got my bachelor's in Cybersecurity.
I know this may seem like erratic behavior, FAFSA sure thinks so, lol. Without going into too much detail, I was in a relationship where the goal became to graduate FAST and get a job.
Since the program was self-paced, I ran through the courses and graduated in just a few months at the end of 2021.
Worked as an IT specialist/helpdesk for a year and now am jobless, and getting out of that relationship which wasn't good for me while regretting all the decisions I made.
I honestly didn't retain much from the program as I sped through it, sure I know a few things but not a lot.
Now am thinking of becoming a software developer, so naturally boot camps felt more enticing. Already had my mind set on App Academy, but after researching it seems like since they'll only be teaching you the practical knowledge, you'll miss out on the fundamentals/mathematics that you would learn from a degree. It will be better to understand how everything works and ties together, versus just knowing how to code.
So I am debating if I should attend the boot camp or go back to community college do the 2-year CS program and then transfer to a 4-year. Yes, it would be nice to have a job in like a year, but I guess I rather be more prepared for the future at a chance of a more "prospering" career.
Also how do you know, if programming is for you? Do I have to have passion for it, or can I just treat it like a job? Currently taking CS50 Harvard class online, working on a scratch project, and it’s not too bad so far.
I was originally thinking of taking accounting, legal, bio courses to see if I find something else exciting but I’ve already wasted 4 years. Might need to find passion after getting a job.
What do you suggest? P.S, I am 21 and if I choose the college route I would move back in with family and work part-time to support them as we aren't financally stable.
