Help your girlie out! What is your best advice for someone wanting to begin a photography business from scratch?
Hi! I’m a 22-year-old student and I currently run a small coffee shop business. The space I’m renting is quite big—we’re only using the garage area for the café, while inside there are three bedrooms.
My mom also has a gown rental business, so some of the rooms are used to store gowns. I’m thinking of turning one of the bedrooms into a small photo studio to add another source of income.
The only problem is that I have little to no knowledge of photography. However, growing up, my family has always been into cameras, and my uncle (who works for a Fujifilm company in Dubai) has been encouraging me to learn the basics so I can start this kind of business.
I would really appreciate any advice on where to start—especially when it comes to choosing the right camera, lenses, and basic setup for a beginner like me.
