Memorial plaques to Józef Piłsudski in Opatija, Croatia

Easy to miss since it is just a small plaque along Opatija's famous seaside promenade.

In English the plaque reads:

JÓZEF PIŁSUDSKI

1867 – 1935

FIGHTER AND STATESMAN

CO-CREATOR OF AN INDEPENDENT POLAND

FIRST MARSHAL AND HEAD OF THE POLISH STATE STAYED IN OPATIJA

ON THE EVE OF THE GREAT WAR FOR THE FREEDOM OF NATIONS
