Getting over losing money in a stupid way

I guess this is more a post for mental support and to vent rather than ask for any real actionable advice on getting my money back, cause from what I can tell the situation is irreversible.

I accidentally bought $300 worth of in-game currency on a video game. I thought I had disconnected my controller from my PlayStation console to use on my PC, but I guess it was still connected somehow. While I was playing games on my PC in another room using my controller, I somehow miraculously navigated to an in-game currency store on my console without my knowledge and made a bunch of purchases purely through completely accidental inputs. I recognize that it is partially my fault because I didn't set it up so that it requires some kind of password before making purchases - but who could have even foreseen *this* comedy of errors happening?

Anyways, I went through all sorts of customer support networks and waited through calls to try and explain my situation and reverse the transactions, but due to PlayStation's refund policy regarding in-game currencies, I seem to be completely out of luck and straight up down -$300. I don't ever really plan on using this in-game currency since it's for a game I barely play nowadays. Now I just feel completely defeated. I have a bunch of assignments for school due very soon and I don't feel like working on any of them cause I just feel like wallowing in misery. Granted, I'm not really in any kind of bad financial situation at the moment, but I think anyone else would feel the same way if they lost hundreds of dollars to something as cartoonishly stupid as this.
