M31 - Andromeda Galaxy
2 hours and 5 minutes of integration from my Bortle 6-7 backyard, in WA state, captured on 9-16-26 from approximately 3am-5am. 47x160 second exposures at ISO 400.
Gear: Explore Scientific ED80, IOptron ZEQ25GT, Canon Rebel SL2/200D, SVBony guide cam/scope (dithered)
Software: APT, PHD2, Siril
Processing: GraXpert Gradient and Denoise, SPCC, Starnet, Veralux HMS and Star Composer, additional curves stretching and BP shift. No saturation, binning or drizzle.
I am very happy with the way this one turned out, I believe it is my best data to date, of M31. I've only been into AP for a couple of months. I've put this whole "kit" together on a budget (about $1,000 USD), buying mostly used equipment. Soon I will be purchasing a mono setup, and I am really excited to see what I can achieve with a dedicated AP camera. I have really been enjoying this hobby and I look forward to not sleeping enough for many years to come!
