Banned from leaving reviews for calling out cook book
Bought a Bulgarian cook book in late 2024. Had numerous errors (steps missing, duplicated recipes, wrong pictures, instructions to prepare yeast and at the end you realized yeast wasn't at all used in the recipe). All around low effort. Left detailed review citing errors in early 2025. Something at the end could be considered snark, but was not intended to be.
Three months later the review is removed, so I leave another. This time I call the content creator a scammer. Review rejected.
Third time, I leave a short review, without snark, stating overall there were errors and I wouldn't recommend. They said I was banned from leaving reviews. I hardly use Amazon and assumed the block was temporary. No response to any appeals.
This week (June 2026), my order for the memory foam replacement piece for my earbuds come in the wrong size. I ordered 3 small and received one of each size. There's no easy way to message the seller directly (again. I hardly use Amazon. I remember this being easier many years ago). I try to leave a review and realize I've been permanently banned from leaving reviews.
Before the cookbook thing I've had 0 issues with reviews being reported.
