Do bikes that sit unused for months get targeted more?
I’ve noticed that bikes that don’t move for a long time start to look a bit forgotten, even if they’re covered.
Do thieves actually notice this kind of thing? Or does it not matter whether a bike looks used or not?
I’m thinking about long-term parking situations like winter storage or shared apartment lots. Curious if anyone’s seen a difference in risk.
