I left a cabbage in my refrigerator and now it smells like the worst fart in the universe

It's for my crickets to eat that I feed to my gecko. What can I do about the smell? It's so bad when I opened the door it hit me like a german panzer tank and I gagged a little. My whole place smells like it. Will I have to get a new refrigerator?
