Utmost respect and admiration
I am elder Gen X (60) and regale in the stories of my younger fellow posters here.
You know your worth, which I love with a passion. I wish I had told a few employers to fuck right off but it was heavily implied that you needed to show them that you were reliable. It was really to keep one under their thumb. What a crock of shit they fed us and we ate it up with gratitude.
I'm constantly trying to explain to these older folks that the the complaint of "they just don't want to work" is a fallacy.
Keep up the good work, the generations after you will benefit greatly and the old ways will disappear.
