My brother's new high rise penthouse apartment doesn't allow individual internet services.
Instead they have one router on each floor and each apartment is assigned a login that needs to authenticate every 24 hours like a hotel. Speeds are miserable at 50mbps.
They aren't allowed to purchase their own service. Not to mention the clear data mining going through a third party AP.
This is a high end and expensive apartment in the middle of downtown...
