I moved close to Dallas last summer and have been unemployed for 1 year.
I seriously don’t know what else to try at this point.
I’ve applied to dozens of jobs, followed up, called, emailed, even shown up in person. I’ve rewritten my resume multiple times. I’ve never gone this long without a job and it’s honestly starting to affect me mentally and physically.
I’m not above any kind of work right now, but I’m also trying to be smart about where I put my energy.
For anyone who was stuck like this and actually got hired what specifically worked for you?
Not general advice like “keep applying” I mean real strategies that led to interviews or offers.
Background: Military experience, healthcare experience, associate degree.
