LPT: if you hear a friend is struggling, even if it is via via, reach it to them. They are probably getting less support than you’d expect
Everyone always assumes “someone else” is closer and giving someone the support they need. You never know what someone’s actual support system looks like. Move from talking”about” someone to talking “with” them. Why not take the chance? Worst case scenario you come across looking thoughtful and kind.
This can be applied to: mental health, newborn/post partum, grief, divorce, moving. Maybe even if it isn’t “struggling” just a life transition, see how they are doing.
