What is the meaning of the term “Brit Mitzvah”?
I recently saw that a friend is planning a Brit Mitzvah for their child. I’d never seen the term before and after googling it I couldn’t really find an answer. The google ai search results said it’s a term sometimes used for gender-fluid kids but there werent any references to confirm this. I also saw another article mention that it could be a term used for a child of an interfaith marriage (which is also the case). Has anyone seen this term used before and can you help me identify its meaning?
