I'm basically looking for the cheapest electric toothbrush that takes a AA or AAA battery that is compatible with the most accessible variety of replacement toothbrush heads.
I use rechargeable AA and AAA batteries around my home and I don't have an available outlet in my bathroom. plus i don't want to have to revert to a caveman or wait for my toothbrush to charge if it dies mid-brush
there is no market standard for electric toothbrush heads and it drives me insane. I want the cheapest and most commonly available heads with the widest variety of cross-compatibility possible. Oral-b and the Phillips Sonicare seem to be very popular with many generics available
I expected less difficulty finding an electric toothbrush that met these requirements and now i feel insane for struggling this much. every toothbrush handle with ubiquitous cross-compatibility seems to only have a rechargeable battery and every non-rechargeable battery operated toothbrush handle seems to have oddball or non-replacable heads #lifestyle source
