I worked at a factory, and a coworker complimented my shirt, I said "Thank You." they asked where I got it, I said a yard sale. My manager at the time overheard and I was called into the office a few hours later. I was told to say I got my clothes from Yard Sales or Thrift stores because it made the company look bad.
