Scary to be Filipino;
The bustling Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport was filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. Filipino citizens were preparing to fly out of the country for their much-awaited vacations.
At the immigration counter, a drama was about to unfold.
The Immigration Officer, a stern-looking man in his forties, looked at the cheerful woman standing in front of him. “Ma’am, ano po trabaho nyo?” he asked, his voice echoing in the busy terminal.
The woman, a vibrant character with a warm smile, replied, “Sir, housewife po!”
The officer raised an eyebrow.
Meanwhile, her husband couldn’t help but overhear the conversation.
And so, the scene continued, a typical day at the airport, a snapshot of life, only in the Philippines.
