Double CoreXY Quake
After the double delta yesterday I wanted to show you my double CoreXY printer Quake
why did I build this:
\- for fun :D
\- I wanted to experiment with the kinematic
The main thing about this design: each axis has to travel half the way, also half the speed/acceleration.
This MIGHT result in:
\- double the speed/acceleration than having a single system
\- compact design, since half the travel is needed
Current disadvantages:
\- complex Eigenfrequencies
\- I'm currently bound to nozzle probing since I don't want to hazzle with offsets in different coordinate systems
I didn't push it to the limits yet, since I had other problems with are finally fixed :D
I want to develop this system further, but sadly lack the time. If someone wants to join, hit me up :D I will probably setup a discord server, since that makes communication easier.
