LPT: Turning off YouTube history blocks recommendations and Shorts on new accounts
If you only want to watch videos from the channels you have subscribed to and want to remove Shorts, make a new account and don’t turn on the history.
This only works on new accounts! You have to make a new account.
This also forces you to make an active decision on which channels you want to subscribe to on your new account.
