1. Loan Installment Repayment
A loan installment repayment must be deducted directly from the borrower's account. This transaction is not considered banking or similar services, but rather a contractual obligation related to the loan. The amount is debited on the agreed date and allocated to the corresponding loan account.
2. Cash Deposits
Cash deposits are recorded as a debit to the cash register. However, there is an exception: when a deposit is made by a customer who has traveled to the store, the accounting procedure may follow a specific one. Generally, the receipt is immediate and increases the cash balance.
3. Withholding Tax and Bank Statement
Withholding tax shown on a bank statement must be allocated to the appropriate account, usually a tax expense or withheld tax account. This entry accurately reflects the decrease in revenue received and the corresponding tax liability.
