In respect of various culture we have on this universe,im happy to share freely my favorite annual celebration is the New Year's Day. Here in Philippines prior to that new day of a year we have what we called the New Year's Eve every night of December 31,the last day of the year which gives me a nostalgic feeling that old days had passed. Time of reflection what i have been through and what i have become. A little sadness from the things not done,but a positive hope that theres another day to pursue again new beginnings. New Years Day celebration means new hope that gives you a fresh start to live your life to the fullest because life is a precious gift from God.
On this day, we normally prepare food like pancit bihon, main dish such as menudo,adobo,afritada,sweet delicacies, and desserts. But the joy of each family does not depend on food preparation. What really matters to us is the bonding of the whole family. This is also a schedule of family reunion. We also enjoy the scenery of colorful fireworks at night to welcome the new year.
What makes this special that differs from other culture,maybe from the food that is only available here in Philippines😅like pork lechon and we also have what we called adobo. And the spirit of closed family ties,maybe thats the reason why divorce is not yet legalized here in Philippines,only on this country and Rome if i am not mistaken. As we know we also have what we called the extended family,married children still stays in their parents house. So every celebration is a big celebration.
