Matthew 5:9
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
As we journey through this season of Lent,
soften our hearts and draw us closer to You.
Teach us to walk in humility,
to turn away from what separates us from Your love,
and to become instruments of Your peace in the world.
Lord, we lift up our world to You today.
Where there is conflict, bring understanding.
Where there is hatred, plant seeds of love.
Where there is fear, bring Your calming presence.
Guide leaders and nations toward wisdom and compassion,
and help each of us to be peacemakers in our homes,
our communities, and our words.
May Your peace reign in every heart. Amen.
