Saw something beautiful -but all too rare
Yesterday I was privy to a special thing I've never seen before, at the annual Hatzalah vs NYPD baseball game in Brooklyn. It was an incredible sight: hundreds of Orthodox and non Jewish families gathered together for one fun event. It was well organized, and everyone seemed to have a great time. To me it showed what's possible when people take initiative and understand the value of cross community interactions. I just wish Orthodox communities would partake in these types of events more frequently.
