I've worked some different jobs, here in germany i've mostly worked in care. 2 years in a retirement home for old people, some struggling with dementia and alzheimers. Unfortunately the staff organization and work climate was quite toxic and i quit working there. So now i work in a smaller house for adults with mental and physical disabilities. It's great, my team is nice and communicating and the clients are really cool people. I feel like i can be myself there and make em feel less "special" and more "normal" in the best sense.
When i was in straya, i did farm work and switched farms every month so ive gotten to do many different of things. From tending chickens, culling sheep, basic gardening, picking strawberries, fixing irrigation systems, establishing barbed wire fence lines or doing back burnings in tasmanian bush ive had quite a lot of expiriences. One of the more stranger things was feeding the leguanas on the property of this old danish carpenter in the middle of straya, alice springs. He fed them frozen chook necks every day and they would just come up on the porch and wait for their feast. He said it's to keep em comfortable on his property so they would eat all the dangerous snakes, scorpions and spiders. Well, i have to admit i haven't seen a single snake out there.
